Last week the NEC was home to millions of pounds worth of top of the range Caravans and Motorhomes, and we were there filming and representing the bike industry.
Scott Beaumont took to the inspiration stage to talk about his racing career, supported by Adria Motorhomes one of his lead sponsors, I was there to capture the moment and assist with the social media coverage.
So many people stayed behind for the Q&A that we ended up being ushered off stage as we ran into the next time slot, but so cool to see so many mountain bikers and adventurers who are clearly part of the camping and motorhome lifestyle too.
After this I met up with Si Paton, organiser, or the UK’s biggest Bike Festival, “The Malvern’s Classic” as he also was there to support one of his key sponsors Xplore Rv’s filming some walk through’s and looking at their caravan and camper range.
What was super interesting as we walked around the show, met industry insiders, and spoke with companies etc, was just how similar the mountain bike and camping communities are, these worlds go hand in hand, so many adventurers and outdoor people love to ride bikes, and what about the vehicles? Wow some of the kit on display is truly mind-blowing!!!
I wonder if I can sell any body parts to buy one? Lol
